OneDrive image upload

I'm trying to upload images to a OneDrive folder on an iPad. The were taken with the iPad but when selecting, add new, upload, photos and videos, browse, on my iPad, it does not recognize the images.

Why will OneDrive for my iphone not fully sync to my camera roll even though I have tons of photos which are not synced yet.
