    Dear Tobey,

I understand how frustrating it can be when your edits fail to sync with OneDrive. Let me help you identify potential causes and guide you through solutions to ensure your files sync correctly.

**Why This Happens -:**Using the "Open in Another App" option exports the file to the Adobe Acrobat Reader app, effectively creating a standalone copy. This copy is no longer connected to the original file stored in OneDrive. Consequently, any changes made in Adobe Acrobat are saved locally within the app and do not sync back to OneDrive.

Use the "Save Back to OneDrive" Option in Acrobat : Certain versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader provide the ability to save files directly to OneDrive.

Step 1: Once you've finished editing the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader, select the "Share" or "Save As" option.

Step 2: From the storage destinations, select "OneDrive."

Step 3: Save the file back to its original location in OneDrive to ensure continuity and syncing.

Enable Auto Sync in Adobe Acrobat: Ensure that the auto-sync feature in Adobe Acrobat is activated by following these steps:

Step 1: Open Adobe Acrobat and navigate to "Settings" or "Preferences."

Step 2: Locate the "Auto Sync" or "Cloud Storage Settings" section.

Step 3: Enable automatic synchronization for connected cloud accounts, such as OneDrive. This will ensure seamless syncing of your files.

Log Out and Relink OneDrive in Adobe Acrobat: To confirm that your account is properly linked between Adobe Acrobat and OneDrive, follow these steps:

    • Step 1: Open Adobe Acrobat Reader and navigate to "Files" > "Accounts."
    • Step 2: Sign out of your OneDrive account.
    • Step 3: Log back in using your Microsoft credentials to re-establish the connection.
    • Step 4: Verify if the synchronization issue has been resolved.

This process can help address linking errors and restore proper syncing functionality.
