Is the message from Windows Defender Security center Sevices legit?
I am getting a message from Windows Defender Security Center Services. It won't let me ignore it and move on. It says Ads.fiancetrack(2).dll is Trojan Spyware, What should I do?

2023-03-07T20:13:53+00:00 And wondering if my last reply went anywhere besides the hackers tie in to my system - MS u got big problems getting bigger moment by moment - I don't think I'm wrong - just paranoid as F anymore - so nothing of importance will be done on any of my MS computers - which i have too many to not use. For watching cartoons and yak yak - I hate driving to the bank and mailing payments in - but it's better than the day $5k whooshed out of my EDD debit account . If u can't trust the system u might as well start living in a cabin in the woods - I'm retired and have very little - but it's enough to be happy - None of us can replace that little bit at 72 . I don't see how MS has helped anyone but themselves with the latest and greatest - and maybe tech pros - who can understand enough to protect themselves. A large portion of the population u need to market with simple safe/secure chat email and payment apps for general life costs - 50% of the population needs cloud computing and server walls - I know enough to be dangerous - which is disconcerting - I don't want every new ding dong toy that comes along professing to simplify my life - if i'm nano nerd maybe - I'm not - I'm a dos guy that thought a green screen was the frickin end all be all with a 10 meg hard drive and a 9" floppy drive system that i could link as many employess to as needed in 1984. It never kept me up nights wondering if my bank account would be empty in the morning.

2023-03-07T21:17:11+00:00 Hi Marc,
I'm sorry you are having these problems. I'm 77 and like you was brought up on DOS. Since those days I've used MS Windows and have never had a problem. I'm currently running the latest preview build of Windows 11 and have never had a virus attack. As I've told others with the same problem you should clean your computer with a program such as Malwarebytes and always make sure your software, including antivirus software, is up-to-date and that you scan regularly for malware. As the original poster has marked my answer to him this thread is marked as Solved, which is possibly why your original post has not been replied to. I suggest that you start your own thread in the relevant forum, giving full details of what your problem is.

2023-03-07T21:44:23+00:00 As I've said to others clean your computer with a program such as Malwarebytes. If you are still getting a problem post your query in the Windows 10 forum.
