Hello,
any progress on this issue after almost 2 months? I'm still experiencing this on macOS. I just recently switched from Google Chrome...
Thank you.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
The issue happens when I use Edge with light theme on my MacBook Pro with Big Sur.
When I watch any video on full screen, a white line appears at the top. I have tried with other browsers such as Chrome or Firefox and the issue is not present. The issue stops when switching to a dark theme.

Same issue here. Remarkable that three months after first complaint here, Microsoft still hasn't fixed it.
Back to Chrome it is.
@Alexandra-R Any updates or an ETA on a fix ? I'm using version 89 (updated just today) and this is still an issue.
The white line issue also happens when using a black InPrivate window in full screen mode using a light theme, whether or not a video is playing.
The issue goes away when I go to a dark theme for the browser, but it makes other websites (like Youtube) go into dark theme, which I don't want. So that isn't a solution.
I prefer Edge except for this (very) annoying issue.
Hi folks,
Sorry for the delay in updates here! We're working with Apple to get a fix out for this, as it looks like a specific regression in Mac OS 11. If you've landed on this thread with this issue and are not on Mac OS 11, please create a new thread so we can work with you to troubleshoot.

Here to add that this is not "streaming video" only issue, it's about the full screen itself, that shows 1 pixel line at the top. Most of the people don't notice that line because the "full screen" of Mac keeps the Toolbar so it's only "100% full screen" when watching videos on streaming platforms, but the line is there even when browsing sites.
Go to "View" > "Always show the toolbar in full screen"> Disable. So now it's 100% full screen all the time and when browsing a black or dark website or having on the top any image you will see the line coming too.
I hope you can fix that soon, thank you!
