White line in the top when watching a fullscreen video

The issue happens when I use Edge with light theme on my MacBook Pro with Big Sur.

When I watch any video on full screen, a white line appears at the top. I have tried with other browsers such as Chrome or Firefox and the issue is not present. The issue stops when switching to a dark theme.

Dark theme doesn't actually fix this issue. I assume it's a general fullscreen issue.

You can reproduce it in dark theme:

    1. Open about:blank, which is a white page.
    2. Press cmd+control+f to enter fullscreen mode and press shift+cmd+f to hide the toolbar if the toolbar is visible.
    3. You'll find there is a black line at the top.

You can also reproduce it in light theme:

    1. Open data:text/html,<!doctype html><html style="background:black">, which is a black page.
    2. Press cmd+control+f to enter fullscreen mode and press shift+cmd+f to hide the toolbar if the toolbar is visible.
    3. You'll find there is a white line at the top.

Unfortunately, I myself have the same problem. As far as I know, there is no fix for it. I reported the bug to the Microsoft Edge team a few months ago, but unfortunately nothing has happened yet. I recommend that you switch to another browser. Furthermore, I'm using Safari again and and no longer have a white line in the full screen.

I don't think Microsoft is doing anything about it either, but I don't know why.

I am SO tired on MS "updates" causing problems such as causing whole programs to disappear and render others inoperable.  I am tired of taking days of wasted time repairing my laptop.  Why not test (which you obviously don't) before forcing your **** updates on people.  I have actually turned off MS  so called "updates" and actually consider them a malicious virus.
