Can't comment on news article

MSN article comments and account sign-in for commenting are controlled by MSN’s own systems, not by Microsoft Edge or Windows.

For issues where the comment pane opens, text can be entered, but submitting always shows a “session expired / sign in to comment” message even though the profile shows as signed in, use MSN’s built-in feedback channel so the MSN team can investigate the specific account and session behavior:

1. Open any MSN page where article comments appear.
2. At the bottom right of the MSN page, select the Feedback option.
3. In the feedback form, describe the problem in detail, including:
   • That the account appears signed in (profile visible).
   • That the comments panel opens and accepts text.
   • That submitting always shows “session expired sign in to comment.”
   • Approximately when the issue started and that it happens on all (or specific) articles.
4. Submit the feedback so the MSN team can review the account and sign-in state on their side.

Microsoft Q&A / Learn and Edge do not have a way to override MSN’s comment sign-in or moderation behavior; only the MSN feedback mechanism can route this to the correct team.
