Community comments/login error

Why is that I can't leave a comment while logged in? I can like other comments, I can read all the comments, I am logged in, as I can see my profile picture in the upper right of my screen and next to the space to comment. I type my comment and submit, but I receive an error that says "your session has timed out, login to comment" and when I click the link, it just takes me to the community guidelines page. What's the issue here? Is it a censoring thing? I've said nothing that goes against guidelines, so that's why I'm confused.

Are you referring to this Q&A forum or something else. You have posted here okay.

If it is MSN then that is not supported here. You need to use the Feedback link at the bottom of their webpage.

It seems that the issue you are experiencing with commenting while logged in could be related to a session timeout or a bug in the system. Users have reported similar problems where they are unable to post comments despite being logged in, often receiving messages indicating that their session has timed out. In some cases, this can occur randomly and may affect certain tags or users.

To resolve this, you might want to try the following steps:

    1. Refresh the page and try to comment again.
    2. Log out and then log back into your account.
    3. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try again.
    4. If the problem persists, consider using the feedback button available on the site to report the issue directly to the support team.

It's also worth noting that if your comments are benign and still being flagged, it may be due to the automated moderation system that sometimes misidentifies content.
