Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

    1. Is the affected email address for a personal Microsoft account (e.g., ending in @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @gmail.com that you created for services like Skype or Xbox) or a work/school account provided by an organization (e.g., ******@company.com)?
    2. Are you trying to access Microsoft Teams in a browser? Have you tried the Teams app instead? https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app

Currently, are you getting an account-related error when logging in now?

If you tried to sign in and received a message that "Microsoft Servers detected too many attempts," your account appears to be temporarily blocked. Sometimes waiting a day can be enough to remove a block. Don't make lots of repeated attempts, as this may reset any time lock. If there's no change after 24 hours, We will try the account recovery options to recover your account.

The issue is specific to the affected machine and is most likely caused by corrupted browser data, extensions, or local network/client problems rather than Teams itself, since it works on another desktop.

Use the following troubleshooting path on the problematic device:

    1. Try an InPrivate/incognito session
      • Open the browser in InPrivate/private/incognito mode and sign in to Teams again.
      • This bypasses most cached data and extensions. Several Microsoft services with similar symptoms work correctly in private mode even when normal sessions fail.
    2. Fully clear browser cache and cookies
      • For Edge: go to SettingsPrivacy and securityClear browsing dataChoose what to clear.
      • Select at least Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files, then clear.
      • For Chrome: More toolsClear browsing data…, select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, then clear.
      • Close all browser windows, reopen, and try Teams again.
    3. Test with another browser and profile
      • Install or use a different browser (for example, if using Edge, try Chrome, and vice versa).
      • Create a new browser profile without any extensions and sign in to Teams there.
    4. Check for extensions or security software interference
      • Temporarily disable browser extensions (especially ad‑blockers, privacy/anti‑tracking, or security add‑ons) and retry.
      • If a security product (for example, anti‑tracking) is installed, temporarily disable its browser integration and test again.
    5. Try another Windows user profile or device-level checks
      • Sign into Windows with a different user account on the same machine and try Teams in a fresh browser profile.
      • If it works there, the problem is confined to the original user profile’s browser data.
    6. If the problem persists
      • Since Teams sign‑in and loading problems often require admin involvement, capture any status code or error details shown in the Teams client or browser and provide them to the IT admin or Microsoft support for deeper investigation.
