How can I get office 365 to work?

Today office 365 has been giving me the following error:

"We're sorry, but Word has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. Word will to be closed as a result.

Would you like us to repair now?"

Similar error in Excel and Outlook... I've spent several hours trying to resolve this error.

Registry, Fresh install of Office 365, online/local repair, revert to older versions, etc...

Nothing is working. Any assistance is greatly apprciated.

    This worked:

    1. Uninstall Office: First, uninstall Office from "Apps & Features" or "Programs and Features".
    2. Delete folders: Manually delete any remaining folders in these locations:
      • C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86)
        • C:\ProgramData
          • C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Microsoft
            • C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft
    3. Clean the registry: Use caution when editing the registry. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft, and delete any keys related to Office.
    4. Restart your computer: Reboot your PC to complete the process

Most of the time, this message means a problem with the current installation and can be fixed by an online repair (not the Repair Now button).
