"This message has no content" on all incoming (received) e-mails on IMAP account

For a few weeks, all my incoming emails are showing "This message has no content". I have a few email accounts configured in Outlook Mobile (iOS) and only the accounts configured using IMAP do this.

If I move the email message to another folder, then back into the inbox they will show the content. Sometimes, if I force close Outlook and restart it, the 'no content' e-mails may appear.

Nothing has changed on my IMAP account and the problem started after updating Outlook (a few revisions ago)

UPDATE: As of January 2023, problem is not resolved. Purchased a new iPad and installed Outlook iOS using only my Microsoft account (outlook.com) and IMAP account. IMAP account continues to show all incoming emails with "This message has no content". Problem with Outlook iOS - OR - my IMAP account?

    to narrow down this issue ,please provide some information below

    1 what is the outlook version and IOS version :

    What version of Outlook do I have? (microsoft.com)

    2 can we test this on Android and Windows outlook to see if the same issue ?

    in the same time , we can try reset Reset Account follow below steps :

    1. Open the Outlook app.
    2. Access the Menu by tapping on your Profile and tap on Settings
    3. Select the affected email account.
    4. Tap Reset Account.

    iOS version is 15.7

    Outlook iOS is latest release.

    I still have this problem now for a few months.

    I don’t have android but it works perfectly on Windows 10 on all desktop PCs I have.

    I also want to add that communicating with support via the app also doesn’t work! It will always open a new conversation instead of the existing one! So I cannot reply to support messages because they don’t appear.

    I am iOS 16.1.1 and I have been struggling with this issue for a while now.

    Tried reinstalling outlook completely, then everything was fine for about 24 hours, then back to the same issue.

    All incoming email have the ”this email has no content” for a few hours before they actually show anything.

    This is a pretty major issue and I am not sure what is causing it, but it doesn’t seem to be that common according to what I can find searching.

    Could it be folder size? any other ideas?

    Same here, on iOS 16.2 on two devices (iPhone X and iPhone 14 Pro), started a few month ago, using Outlook Mobile version 4.2248.3

    If using the build-in iOS Mail app, these IMAP synched emails can be read without issue.
