I have the same problem with the new Teams, but I relalized today that when I delete a channel, it doesn't refresh but when I go to another team and come back, the channel is deleted.
New Microsoft Teams - Unable to delete channels
Issue occurs only in New Teams: Teams owners are unable to delete a channel when they are using the new Microsoft Teams. If we switch to old Teams or logon to Office.com the user is able to delete the channel from there. The new teams version is 23320.3021.2567.4799(preview). Client version 49/23111630009.
The delete is tried both by clicking on the ... next to the channel and then 'Delete channel' and also by click on ... next to Team, click on 'Manage team', click on 'channels' and then clicking on the ... next to the channel from there. The channel remains and is not moved to deleted channels.
You can delete from old teams or Office.com. Here the channel is deleted from list and moved to deleted channels. if I look in 'Manage Teams'. It is only new Teams where the issue occurs.
Is this an issue anyone else have experienced and have a way to fix so the user can delete directly in New Teams? I have tried deleting the cashe, but still unable to delete using New Teams
Update 12012024
I am now able to delete now after logging out and back in to New Teams. It looks like Microsoft has correct the "error".

You may try to Repair or Reset the new Teams app by performing the steps below:

- Locate the New MS Teams application in the list > Click on it or the 3 dots and go to Advanced options
- Click on Repair, and Reset button
- Re-open MS Teams app and try to delete the unwanted channel
If the same issue persist, you may try to uninstall, and re-install the new MS Teams application.
"But if all else fails, this needs to be submitted to the Developer for bug check, which will allow them to provide a patch/update to get it sorted as soon as possible. You may follow the steps below on how to submit the feedback

2023-12-12T15:08:21+00:00 Thank you for tips. I have tried both and still unable to delete. I have now submitted as feedback... but how can I check status on my feedback? Or can I find a list of known error for the New Teams client?
