Task by Planner and To do is automatically assigning the task to the user who created it

As of Monday afternoon whenever a task is created in the Teams channel it is automatically assigned to the user who created it which is causing a lot of confusion for the team.

Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?

    Having the same issue. Seems to only do this when in the "list" view. Major headache.
