Unwanted options when showing Google in MS Edge

I'm not sure when this first started but if I'm viewing Google in MS Edge I see a grey area at the bottom with options relating to advertising, privacy and terms etc (see screenshot). I'd always assumed they're a part of Google but I just realised they don't appear if I swap to some different browser, such as Chrome. So I guess they're getting added by MS Edge itself.

Is there some way to remove them / hide them?

I've got Chrome on my mobile phone and that also shows me the grey area - so it must be some new feature which wasn't supported in older browsers. In fact I've an ancient version of Internet Explorer here and that doesn't show it either.

If someone knows of a way to remove it, I hope they'll post here!

It's best to try posting it on the Google Chrome Help Community as well.
