Microsoft Edge on iPhone 13

I just recently upgrade my phone from iPhone XR to an iPhone 13 mini - my Edge browser no longer works. I get the following message:

"You're not connected.

And the web just isn't the same without you. Let's get you back online!

Try :

  • Turning off airplane mode ---> (phone is not on airplane mode - did turn it on and back off).
  • Turning on mobile data or Wi-Fi ---> did both of those
  • Checking the signal in your area --> I have full cell and wifi signal

ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED

I have deleted it and reinstalled it so I definitely have the most up-to-date version 102.1245.33. I have tried clearing all the cache, cookies etc. My iPhone 13 mini is brand new and also had the most up-to-date verison of software iOS 15.5.

I use Edge as my default browser on all my devices - can you please tell me what I should do to get this fixed?

    Day ChelseaD3825,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Edge and community member like you.

Let us work together to sort this out.

-Does it happen to all the browser, can you please try with other browser for us to check if the issue is isolated with Edge or your phone itself.

-Can you please try to access a different website if will still get the same error it in your Edge browser.

-How did you re-install the Edge before?

I'lll look forward for your response so that I can provide an accurate recommendation.

Have a wonderful Good day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

    Hi Carlos,

I have used both Safari and Chrome with no connection issue. I deleted the app from my phone and re-installed it

    Good Day ChelseaD3825,

I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, if it does the same using other browser means that the issue is wit your connection or your phone, try to connect to a different internet connection or use your phone to access to the internet and check.

Have a wonderful Good day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

No sir I said that I did NOT have any issues with Safari and Chrome. I can use both of those browsers on my phone with no problem, on cellular data and wifi. Edge still does not work.

    Good Day ChelseaD3825,

-How did you re-install the Edge in your device? Does it happen to all the sites you are trying to access in Edge?

Can you please try to access a different website if you are getting the same error.

If it does the same , try to uninstall it completely and re-install it back one more time.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.
