Can't start Dragon Age 2 from MS Surface Studio - virtual environment error

I'm getting an error when trying to start Dragon Age 2 (installed via Origin) from my desktop. I get a pop-up telling me the program won't run from a virtual environment. I'm not using one.

I've seen other threads about this indicating that a version of Origin designed for MS Surface is needed but I can't find it anywhere. Can you help me find it?

Thanks

Jim

Hyper-V is already disabled and I’m getting the same error.

Then it is not optimized for the machine (for some reason or another).  There are a few others that also had issues with Origin which is mainly an online menu that catalogs and downloads the games you buy with them (I had Command & Conquer Generals but never played it on a Surface).

See if you can find a "Contact Us" on their web site and send them an email and describe the problem you are having.

The instructions that Entegy give may or may not work but you can give it a try.

I tried a repair install and after a few video resolution adjustments it works fine. Laggy during normal game play, but works.
