IUpdateSearcher2::IgnoreDownloadPriority property

Gets and sets a Boolean value that indicates whether to ignore the download priority. The download priority determines whether one update should replace another update.

This property is read/write.

Syntax

HRESULT put_IgnoreDownloadPriority(
  [in]  VARIANT_BOOL value
);

HRESULT get_IgnoreDownloadPriority(
  [out] VARIANT_BOOL *retval
);

Property value

Set to VARIANT_TRUE to ignore the download priority; otherwise, set to VARIANT_FALSE.

Error codes

Returns S_OK if successful. Otherwise, returns a COM or Windows error code.

Remarks

The IUpdateSearcher2 interface may require you to update Windows Update Agent (WUA). For more information, see Updating Windows Update Agent.
