The Inventory - Availability Plan report shows an overview of specific items and stock-keeping units, and their availability in Excel. The report shows accumulated values such as gross requirements, scheduled and planned receipts, inventory, and so on.

This report is a replacement of the obsolete report Inventory Availability Plan.
Available layouts
The report includes an Excel layout with worksheets designed for print and for analysis.
You can export the layout from the Report Layouts, edit it in Excel to cater for your needs, and import it back to Business Central. To learn more, go to Creating your own report layouts.
Use cases
Get an overview of specific items and stock-keeping units, and their availability.
Production managers use the report to:
- Identify shortages of raw materials or finished goods and plan accordingly.
- Monitor inventory levels for specific items and stock-keeping units.
- Track the availability of materials and goods so they're ready for production when needed.
Sales representatives use the report to:
- Check the availability of specific items and stock-keeping units for customers.
- Determine when items can fulfill orders.
- Provide customers with accurate information about when they can expect to receive their orders.
Warehouse supervisors use the report to:
- Monitor inventory levels for specific items and stock-keeping units.
- Identify items that are over- or under stocked.
- Plan for incoming and outgoing shipments based on inventory availability.
