Refund from Unused balance in my suspensed microsoft account

If a Microsoft account is suspended for violating the Microsoft Services Agreement, Microsoft may suspend or terminate access to the account and to any balance in that account.

For Microsoft account balances funded by gift cards or similar:

• If the account is suspended, the money in the account is not lost during the suspension, but access to it can be restricted.
• If Microsoft closes the account, any remaining non‑promotional balance will be refunded only to the extent required by law. Promotional balances are not refunded.
• If fraud or misuse of the account is suspected in good faith, Microsoft may withhold the balance and a refund may not be provided.

For general Microsoft account suspension (not just gift card balance), accounts are usually locked or suspended for violations such as malware, phishing, spam, or other harmful activities under the Microsoft Services Agreement. In such cases, Microsoft can restrict or terminate access to the account and related services.

Since an appeal has already been submitted and the suspension remains, the next step is to wait for the outcome of that review or contact Microsoft Customer Support for specific account and refund handling, as community forums and documentation cannot access or change individual accounts or guarantee refunds.
