How do I change the default canvas size in the paint app?

The default is 1000 x 486 pixels. I want it much bigger, like 2000 x 1000, and don't want to expand it every time.

    Open Paint.

    Click the Resize button on the top menu.

    On the resulting dialog, select Pixels as the units.

    Set your preferred image canvas size.

    Click the X at the top right to close Paint.

    You will be asked if you want to save the document, select No.

    Then, open Paint again, that canvas size you set should have become the default.

    Hello !

    Unfortunately, at the moment, you cannot set a default size canvas in the Paint app.

    However, Paint reopens with the last canvas size you used. You can open Paint and set the size to 2000*1000 (in Image Properties); next time you open it, you'll keep the canvas size you've set.

    Another way to do it is to create a "template" file, with the correct canvas size, and duplicate it every time you want to use Paint.
