Based on the screenshot and description, Copilot is loading but returns “Something went wrong. Please try again later.” This typically indicates a transient service, licensing, or account conflict issue rather than a local client problem.

    Follow these steps in order:

    1. Wait and retry after some time
Similar Copilot and Microsoft 365 issues have resolved themselves after backend changes or propagation delays. If Copilot or its license was recently assigned or changed, allow several hours and try again.
    2. Confirm Copilot license and account
Ask the Microsoft 365 admin to verify that:
      • The signed‑in account has an active license that supports Microsoft 365 Copilot.
      • There are no conflicting licenses or blocked policies for Copilot.
If multiple accounts are signed in (personal plus work/school), sign out of all, then sign in only with the account that has the Copilot license and test again.
    3. Check that Copilot is not blocked by policy/app settings
If using Copilot in Teams or other Microsoft 365 Apps, the admin should confirm in the Teams Admin Center and Microsoft 365 admin portals that:
      • The Copilot app is unblocked and made available to the user or relevant groups.
      • Any Copilot‑related policies are not preventing access.
    4. Verify network connectivity and requirements
Ensure the device has stable internet connectivity and that organizational network settings (firewall, proxy, web filters) allow the endpoints required for Microsoft 365 Copilot. If Copilot was working previously and recently stopped, check whether any new security software or network changes were introduced.
    5. If the issue persists, open a support ticket
Because similar “Something went wrong” Copilot/M365 issues have required backend fixes by Microsoft, ask the tenant admin to open a support ticket through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and include details (time of failure, user UPN, tenant ID, screenshots). Microsoft support can then check for service‑side or tenant‑specific issues.
