From your post, I understand how frustrating it is when Outlook locks up just by clicking “Signature”, especially since it blocks normal email use.
Please try to remove pre-installed Office Desktop Apps:
- Close Outlook completely
- Right‑click Start > open “Settings”
- Go to “Apps” > “Apps & features”
- Look for “Microsoft Office Desktop Apps”
- Select it > click Uninstall
- Restart your PC
- Open Outlook again and test “Signature”
If Outlook still freezes after that step, it would help to know:
- Are you fully updated to a recent Outlook / Microsoft 365 build?
- Does Outlook freeze immediately, or only become unresponsive for a while?
- Does the same issue happen if you start Outlook in Safe Mode?
