Hello,
- Quit Microsoft Word if running.
- Open Finder > hold the option key and click Go menu and select 'Library'.
- Go to this path -
~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Templates - Find the Normal.dotm (Word default template), drag the file to your desktop.
- Open Microsoft Word and close it.
Word will automatically create a new Normal.dotm with default file settings.
You can then try creating a new blank document.
