I continue to get emails from you stating that my one drive associated with my email: ******@gmail.com is over my storage limit and IT IS NOT!!!! I am only using 8% of my storage per your website. You keep trying to have me upgrade and pay more for storage, but that's total crap. I want to talk to someone on the phone that can explain to me why I keep getting these messages. It says my personal account is "frozen" This should not be the case

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Open an incognito tab and sign in with your Microsoft account on the link below.

    https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/accounts-category/storage

Expand the Microsoft Storage and Email storage section.

Post a screenshot of the resulting dialog box.

Note that with a Microsoft account (without any Microsoft 365 subscription), you get 5 GB of OneDrive cloud storage and 15 GB of Outlook email storage. If you exceed either of these limits, you won't be able to send or receive emails, and your account may be frozen.

If you upgrade your storage or free up some space in your account, it typically takes 24–48 hours for the account to unfreeze and for email to start working normally again.

Make sure you’ve also emptied the OneDrive Recycle Bin and that you’re not syncing more than 5 GB of data on your Windows PC. That is, if you’ve turned on OneDrive sync on your desktop, ensure that the total size of the files and folders that is syncing does not exceed 5 GB.

For example, if you are syncing a Pictures folder to OneDrive, make sure that folder does not contain more than 5 GB of photos. If OneDrive attempts to sync a folder larger than your available storage, you may see a “storage full” error.
