Where can I find Channels? Can't find it on Teams!

Exactly what Microsoft 365 subscription do you have? Is it Microsoft Business subscription or Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, or Premium subscription?

In Teams, channels only appear inside a team. If no team has been created or joined yet, there will be no channels to see or search for.

To get to channels on the desktop app or web:

1. Open Microsoft Teams and sign in with the work or school account that actually has Teams service enabled.
2. Select the Teams icon on the left side.
3. Under each team name, the channels for that team appear (for example, General plus any others).
4. If only one channel is visible, select See all channels under that team to view and show more channels.

If no teams are listed at all, first create or join a team:

1. In Teams, go to the Teams area.
2. Select Join or create a team.
3. Create a team or join one that already exists.
4. After joining, channels for that team will appear under the team name.

To show hidden channels or manage which ones are visible:

1. In the Teams list, select the team name.
2. Choose See all channels.
3. Select Show next to any channel that should appear in the main list.

On mobile (iOS/Android):

1. Tap Teams.
2. Tap the team name.
3. Tap More options > View channels (iOS) or More options > Manage channels (Android) to see all channels.

If Teams still shows no teams or channels after signing in with the work account, the Microsoft 365 admin may need to confirm that the account has a Business or Enterprise plan with Teams enabled.
