Microsoft Teams not opening problem after macOS login

I've added Microsoft Teams to the macOS 'Login items' list.

After login, the program is visible if I CMD + Tab, to Teams, it doesn't open with any visible window or content. They're just 'empty shells'.

If I close them and reopen Teams, it displays properly.

How do I ensure Teams opens and displays properly on first login?

Oh, I see. Since both auto-start options are on, Teams likely opens before macOS finishes loading, causing the blank window.

I would suggest removing Teams from Login Items in System Settings, then re-adding it via Teams’ auto-start option, making sure macOS and Teams are updated, and restarting your Mac.

You can check that both macOS and Teams are fully updated.

    Also, these:

    • Remove Teams from Login Items in System Settings > Users & Groups.

    • Re-add it using Teams > Preferences > General > check “Auto-start application.”

    • Restart your Mac so Teams launches after system services load.
