Is there a major problem with Microsoft Casual Games service?

I am reporting a persistent Microsoft Casual Games service failure affecting Microsoft Solitaire Collection and Microsoft Mahjong.

For over 48 hours:

• Solitaire shows Error 101 even when fully signed out.

• Mahjong fails to download from the Microsoft Store with a download error.

• The Microsoft Store is extremely slow or fails to deliver Casual Games content.

• All standard troubleshooting has been completed: app reset, reinstall, wsreset, Store reset, Xbox sign‑out/in, Windows sign‑out/in, network reset, and full PC restart.

• The issue persists across all Microsoft accounts and even when not signed in.

This strongly indicates a Microsoft Casual Games backend or regional delivery network outage (I am located in Cornwall, UK).

Please escalate this as a server‑side issue and confirm whether there are known problems with the Casual Games service for the UK region.

    Hi Catherine Millar

I understand how frustrating it is to be blocked by an issue like this after you’ve already tried everything reasonable, especially when it appears to be outside your control.

Here are the official ways to raise and escalate the issue:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support

    Make sure to note that:

    • The issue occurs even when signed out
    • It affects multiple Microsoft accounts
    • It appears region‑specific (UK)
    1. Submit Feedback to Microsoft
    • Open Feedback Hub (Windows + F)
    • Category: Apps > Microsoft Store or Gaming > Casual Games
    • Include the key symptoms (Solitaire Error 101, Mahjong download failure, Store slowness) and your UK location

These are the only official channels that can log, investigate, and escalate a potential backend or regional service issue.

I know it’s not easy to hit a dead end after doing everything right, but raising it through these channels ensures it reaches the teams who can actually investigate and fix it.
