    Windows didn't delete anything.

I looked at your previous question, the thread history showed that you deleted it. Do you want me to undelete it if it was done by accident?

AI generated content. This question contains an answer created with AI from Q&A Assist. Learn more

On Microsoft Q&A and similar Microsoft forums, posts or responses can be deleted or hidden automatically by the spam and moderation filters. This can happen even when the content does not violate the Code of Conduct.

    From the provided examples:

    • Questions or answers may be auto-moderated and deleted by the spam filter by mistake.
    • Moderators can later restore such posts when the issue is reported.

    To address this:

    1. Sign in to the site where the response was posted (for example, Microsoft Q&A / Learn).
    2. Go to the profile/activity page and check My questions / My answers to see if the post has been restored or is still visible there.
    3. If the response is missing or marked as deleted, create a new question briefly explaining that a previous post was auto-deleted and ask a moderator to review and restore it.
    4. If the thread is visible but the AI or a specific reply was removed, it may have been rejected or cleaned up as part of moderation; posting a clarified version of the question is recommended.

There is no Windows 11 desktop or personalization setting that controls this behavior; it is handled entirely by the online service’s moderation system.
