Managing external identities to enable secure access for partners, customers, and other non-employees
Urgent help needed! Oneshare and Azure/Entra, invitations blocked due to suspicious activity in directory.
I've been struggling with this problem since 19 February now.
Account is less than 30 days old and we have our first years payment coming up on 18th of March. I need this fixed promptly as it's affecting our business and I do not want to pay a years subscription if I can't get OneDrive working properly.
I invited 16 external users to a folder on OneShare, a few of them got invited the rest blocked and now I get this message everytime I try to invite an external contact to a folder in OneShare.
"Please configure B2B collaboration settings correctly and troubleshoot first, "https://aka.ms/b2b-troubleshoot". Error from Entra B2B: At least one invitation failed. Error: ResponseStatusNotOK, message: Invitations are blocked for this directory due to suspicious activity. Please contact Microsoft support for help.."
I contacted 365 support right away, was on the phone with them from an hour, have sent several emails back and forth. The finally came to the conclusion that they can't help, and advised me to create a support ticket on Azure/Entra instead, which I did a week ago but no one has reached back to me to help.
What do I do!? After using Dropbox for 10 years instead of OneShare I got to admit that this feels completely unprofessional and ridiculous that 16 external user invites triggers a suspicious activity alarm that blocks everything and that I am not able to do something about it despite in putting hours into troubleshooting, being on the phone with support etc.
PLEASE, someone help with solve this ridiculous problem!
