Are you signing into Teams using a personal or an organization account?
When you cannot sign in, can you tell me if it provides any error, if so, what does the error say? Any information to describe the difficulty signing in would be helpful.

Teams app works perfectly on my lap top. I cannot access this app on my cell phone even though I have downloaded Teams successfully. I uninstalled this app, then reinstalled but it will not allow me to sign in

Try these steps in order on the mobile phone:
If sign-in still fails after these steps, contact the organization’s IT admin to check for account, license, or sign-in policy issues that may block mobile access.
