A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hi,
Thank you for sharing your question.
I understand how unsettling it feels when it looks like your email might be exposed, and I want to help you regain control of your account and your shared list.
In most cases, nothing has direct access to your OneDrive files; instead, the Shared tab can show links or items that others shared with you, even if the sender is unknown or unwanted. This usually happens when someone obtains your email address and sends a share link, which places those items in your “Shared with you” view, but it does not mean your account was breached.
To resolve this, you can remove those share links by selecting the item and choosing Remove from shared list (this does not delete any files in your OneDrive). If you suspect your email was used widely, you can also review your Microsoft account security settings, reset your password, turn on two‑step verification, and check for unusual activity. These steps help make sure only you can use your account and keep your shared area clear going forward.
Before we move forward, can you tell me whether the items appear under Shared → Shared with you or Shared → Shared by you? That helps pinpoint exactly which steps you’ll need.
Feel free to follow up, and I’ll guide you step by step until everything looks secure again.
I hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Noel
