Thanks, Peter. Please download and run this package once.

    Hi Peter,

The Camera should not require admin permissions. Let us try to reinstall drivers for it.

    Please supply the following Information.

Right-click the Start button and Choose the Run option

    Type in msinfo32

    Press enter.

Take a screenshot of the System Summary window and post it in the next reply.

I look forward to your response and am eager to collaborate until we find a solution.

To enable the camera on a Surface Pro as an administrator, you will need to access the UEFI settings. Here’s how you can do that:

    1. Power Off the Device: Make sure your Surface Pro is completely powered off.
    2. Enter Firmware Setup: Press and hold the Volume Up button, then press and release the Power button. Continue holding the Volume Up button until the Surface logo appears, then release it.
    3. Navigate to UEFI Settings: Once in the UEFI setup, look for the Devices page.
    4. Enable the Camera: On the Devices page, you will find options to enable or disable the front and rear cameras. Make sure they are set to Enabled.
    5. Save and Exit: After making the changes, save your settings and exit the UEFI setup.

Once you have enabled the camera in UEFI, it should be available for use in Windows.
