Planner in teams shows no way to add tasks after implementing Targeting Hierarchy

We've implemented the Team Targeting Hierarchy yesterday, with just two groups, Management and Engineers:

The Publishing tab/option is now appearing in teams, however the window is completely empty with no way to add tasks:

I'm both an owner and member for both the Management and Engineers groups.

What's going wrong here?

    Issue Description: Implementing the Team Targeting Hierarchy, even the Publishing tab/option is appearing in Teams, the window is completely empty with no way to add tasks 

    Assessment: This behavior was caused by Teams desktop app cache. Resetting the Teams app helped clear the cache and refresh the application, which is known to resolve many desktop-related issues.  Clear the Teams client cache
