When you renew your subscription and also purchase a new device that includes a subscription, you may end up with overlapping coverage. In your case, since you renewed your subscription on December 4, 2025, for a year, it will be valid until December 2026. If the new HP computer you purchased includes a subscription for a year, that subscription will typically start from the date of activation, which could extend your coverage to December 2027, depending on the terms of the included subscription.

    To clarify your situation:

    • You have your renewed subscription valid until December 2026.
    • The new subscription from the HP computer may add an additional year, extending your coverage to December 2027.

It’s best to check the specific terms and conditions of the subscription included with your new computer to confirm how it interacts with your existing subscription. If you have any doubts, contacting Microsoft support or the retailer where you purchased the computer can provide you with precise information.
