Hi, my @gmail.com email is hacked. I deleted it in google but it is still attached to microsoft and since it is the primary it won't let me take it off until i verify another email which i am having issues doing. I added a Ghost VPN and now I'm having DSN issues. I cannot use my browsers.

To remove a primary email address from your Microsoft account, you need to verify another email address first. If you're having issues with verification, ensure that the email you are trying to verify is accessible and that you can receive emails at that address. If you are unable to verify it due to DNS issues caused by using a VPN, try disabling the VPN temporarily to see if that resolves your browser access problems.

If you continue to face difficulties, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance with your account and the email verification process. They can provide guidance tailored to your specific situation.

    Hello

For the VPN issue, can you uninstall it and see if your browser will work again?

As for alias for your Microsoft account, Can you sign into your personal account via this link: https://account.live.com?

If so, go to Your Info > Sign in preference, Add an alias.

    You have two options here:

Create new: this will allow you to use the native domain outlook.com to create a new alias.

Add existing: this will allow you to add a 3rd party email address, such as yahoo, gmail, as long as they are not already associated with another Microsoft account.

Once added, make this new alias your primary alias, then you can delete the other email as alias, and that email is free from this Microsoft account instantly.
