We are a museum with a laptop that is often used in remote locations with no internet availability. We like the simplicity of Office and would rather not have to write our notes in notepad and then transcribe them when we get back to the home base. Where can we purchase a standalone Office Suite to solve our issue?

To obtain a Microsoft Office suite for use in remote locations without internet access, you can consider purchasing Office LTSC (Long Term Service Channel) 2021 or 2024. These versions are designed for use in disconnected or restricted environments and are available through volume licensing agreements. They provide core productivity apps without the need for an ongoing internet connection.

You can purchase Office LTSC from Microsoft or authorized resellers. Make sure to choose the version that fits your needs, such as Office LTSC Professional Plus or Office LTSC Standard, which are available for Windows devices.

Additionally, once installed, these versions do not require internet access for functionality, making them suitable for your museum's laptop used in remote locations.
