Family safety problems

I have an issue with Family Safety. Previously, I didn't need to have any 'Parental permissions' but when I updated my laptop, I had to have a parent attached to my account. That was okay. But I find it difficult to use my laptop now. For some reason, I am not allowed to use chrome without having to ask my parents for 'more screen time' and getting kicked out of the app. This is difficult because I still need to use chrome for school and stuff.

There's also no way to get rid of screen time and we have to keep resetting the time to the max, 8 hours, and once I use the screen time up, we have to reset the screen time again. I'm wondering what I can do and if there's any way that I can maybe get rid of screen limitations or restrictions on certain apps because it's quite hard to manage, especially since I use my laptop not only for school but also YouTube sometimes.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, with a child account in Microsoft Family Safety, it is not possible to bypass the restrictions.

In the Microsoft Family Safety organizer’s management screen, there are options to set time limits for each app (from 0 minutes to unlimited) and to block apps.

Please explain the situation to your parent and ask them either to remove the restrictions, set the time limit to the required duration, or configure it as unlimited.
