Hi

I had to change my email password, and it signed me out of my outlook app for autentication. When i tried to log in again it prompts me approve the request in my app, but i no longer have access to it. So I reset my password again because i have access to the alternative email and my phone number but when i try to log in again with the new password i just created i get an error saying "You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password."

Since i just changed the password im sure it is correct and i am sure the email is also correct.

I dont have my recovery code and ive tried to ask for support but because i have two factor authentication they ignored my request.

What can i do to solve this issue, because the normal channels aren't for me?

    Hi,

Your account is locked because multiple failed sign-in attempts combined with two-factor authentication triggered Microsoft’s security protection. Even though your password is correct, the system requires 2FA approval and temporarily blocks access after too many tries.

    What I suggest is:

Wait for the lockout period usually about 24 hours.

Then use the official Account Recovery Form: https://account.live.com/acsr with as much accurate info as possible.

If recovery fails, escalate to Microsoft Support for a manual review explaining you lost access to your Authenticator app.

Once you regain access, update your security info and store a recovery code to avoid this in the future. I hope this helps!
