New outlook for Mac is showing text in mails in a weird way. It adds things like E2=80=99 It works without any issues on legacy mode. Changing fonts, resetting fonts etc. nothing seems to help.

Here is a screenshot of the issue. It is like that on all emails.

    Hi @Cihan Aksoylu

Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A.

Based on the information you described, I understand that the New Outlook for Mac is incorrectly rendering text in your emails, displaying encoding characters like E2=80=99 (which typically represents an apostrophe) instead of standard text. You also noted that this issue is present on all emails and does not occur when switching back to Legacy Mode.

To help me narrow down the cause, could you please provide the following details?

    • What specific Outlook version (e.g., 16.xx) and macOS version are you currently running?
    • When did this issue start occurring? Did it happen immediately after a recent update?
    • Does this rendering error appear on all incoming emails you receive, or do you also see it when you are composing/sending new emails?
    • Can I ask if the same behavior occurs when testing on OWA?

Please let me know these details so I can assist you better.
