How to go back to Office 13

I inadvertently installed Microsoft 365 and Office which now means I have to upload a file to my cloud account to be able to open it using Office 365 tools. I want to store my files locally so how can I uninstall Microsoft 365 and Office and reinstall Office 13 I had previously?

I can't see Microsoft 365 or Office in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.

If I try and run a 32bit Office 13 installer, I am told I have a 64bit version already installed.

Where can I get the 64bit office installer from to repair my version?

Thanks

To uninstall Microsoft 365 and Office, you can use the Microsoft 365 Uninstall troubleshooter. This tool can help you remove Office applications that may not appear in the Add/Remove Programs section of the Control Panel. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Download the Microsoft 365 Uninstall Troubleshooter: You can find it by searching for "Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant" online.
    2. Run the Troubleshooter: Make sure you are using the same Windows device where Microsoft 365 or Office is installed. Follow the prompts to uninstall the applications.
    3. Restart Your Device: After the uninstallation is complete, restart your computer.
    4. Install Office 13: Once Microsoft 365 is uninstalled, you can proceed to install Office 13. Make sure you have the correct installer for the 64-bit version, as you mentioned you are currently using a 64-bit version of Office.

If you do not have the installer for Office 13, you may need to contact Microsoft support or check your previous purchase records to obtain it.

Note: If you encounter issues with the installation or if you need to repair your Office installation, ensure that the bit version of Office matches your Windows version (32-bit or 64-bit). You can check this by going to the settings in your Office applications or by looking up your Windows specifications.

Which Microsoft applications do you see in the list of installed programs in Control Panel? You may have to uninstall Project and Visio as well, before you can install an older Microsoft Office version.

Note that reinstalling Office 2013 often requires that you make use of a product key and an installation disc. Maybe you are already aware of this.
