I moved to the UK from austria, and I have updated my location. However the payment method with a UK billing address will not go through, it keeps telling me to update my billing address, which I already have done.

There is no way to contact microsoft, I tried calling and was send a link to the online "support" page which is utterly useless and contains nothing I haven't tried, just a load of common sense. I am going to lose access to my subscription because microsoft is refusing to allow me pay!

If you're having trouble with your payment method after moving to the UK, there are a few steps you can take:

    1. Verify Payment Method: Ensure that the payment method you are using is issued from the UK. Payment methods must be from the same country/region as your tenant.
    2. Update Billing Address: Double-check that your billing address is correctly updated in your Microsoft account settings. Sometimes, even small discrepancies can cause issues.
    3. Contact Support: If you continue to face issues, you can try reaching out to Microsoft support through their online channels. Although you mentioned having difficulties, using the Microsoft 365 Support page may provide additional options for assistance.
    4. Create a New Account: If changing your payment method or updating your billing address does not resolve the issue, consider creating a new account in the UK and transferring your subscription to the new account.

If you are still unable to resolve the issue, it may be beneficial to keep trying the support options available, as they can provide specific guidance tailored to your situation.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Please ensure that everything is also updated on the bank's side and that the international and online purchase is enabled as well and you may also check and test using a different browser or via inPrivate or Incognito mode. Another alternative that you can test is to link your card to PayPal and then use PayPal as a payment method for your Microsoft account by going to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments?.

In this scenario even after checking or trying the other suggested methods and it did not helped out solve the issue, you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ and then click on Microsoft 365 and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in to contact Support and login and proceed from there and kindly take note that the forum does not have access to user accounts to be able to check this side of things.
