Office 365 Outlook deleted emails do not appear in the deleted items folder

an email when deleted from my inbox disappears from Outlook completely. it does not load into the Deleted Items Folder.

    Thanks for sharing the details, terry! Try to check if a Hidden Server-Side Rule Is Auto-Deleting Mail

    Some Exchange / Microsoft 365 accounts have invisible rules created by add-ins, migrations, or admin policies.

    How to check (Windows Outlook desktop):

    • Close Outlook.
    • Press Win + R, run: outlook.exe /cleanrules
    • Restart Outlook and test deleting a message.

    This command erases all client-side rules, including corrupted ones that silently hard-delete mail.
