Thanks for sharing the details, terry! Try to check if a Hidden Server-Side Rule Is Auto-Deleting Mail
Some Exchange / Microsoft 365 accounts have invisible rules created by add-ins, migrations, or admin policies.
How to check (Windows Outlook desktop):
- Close Outlook.
- Press Win + R, run:
outlook.exe /cleanrules - Restart Outlook and test deleting a message.
This command erases all client-side rules, including corrupted ones that silently hard-delete mail.
