I can't access my emails even though my Hotmail account is open on my phone. I receive a "Verify Account" message and am asked to send a verification code to my phone number. I can't verify my account because I changed my phone number.

I don't have any other security information/verification method, phone number, or email address linked to the account.

Two-factor authentication is not enabled on the account.

Email is enabled on my phone, but I can't access my emails because it requires verification.

If you are unable to access your Hotmail account due to a verification request and you do not have access to the phone number or any other linked security information, you may need to reset your account access. Since two-factor authentication is not enabled, you can try the following steps:

    1. Account Recovery: Visit the Microsoft account recovery page and follow the prompts to recover your account. You may need to provide information about your account to verify your identity.
    2. Contact Support: If you are unable to recover your account through the automated process, you may need to contact Microsoft support for further assistance. They can help you regain access to your account.
    3. Update Security Information: Once you regain access, consider updating your security information, including adding a new phone number or email address for future verification needs.

Unfortunately, without access to the verification method, it may be challenging to access your emails directly.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Based on your description, you are being asked to verify your account. This is due to the system detecting unusual activity. You will only be able to access your emails once you have verified your account.

Since you do not have an active 2FA and no access to any verification methods, I'm afraid the only way to recover/verify the account is through the account recovery web form: https://account.live.com/acsr

You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft, and you can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

If your Microsoft account recovery request was not granted, please review this link for tips on improving your chances of a successful recovery: https://support.microsoft.com/office/dc56c3e3-dff0-4ed5-8edb-60290eea6b53

Please be advised that Microsoft Support will not be able to grant you access to your account.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
