Azure services like Cosmosdb, gen2 storage, SQL DB vanished from my free subscription.

Details:

  1. Account: Azure free subscription
  2. Credits left: Rs 10000+
  3. Days left - 8 days

I tried few workarounds and checks based on google recommendations and still no resolution

  1. Account: Only 1 subscription and 1 directory which is active
  2. Cleared cache
  3. Tried incognito
  4. Waited for 24 hours

I don't know the reason, thank you in advance.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with accessing Azure services like Cosmos DB, Gen2 storage, and SQL Database in your Azure free subscription. Here are a few things to consider:

    1. Service Availability: Ensure that the services you are trying to access are included in the Azure free account offerings. Some services may have limitations or may not be available under the free tier.
    2. Subscription Status: Since you mentioned that you have only one active subscription, double-check the status of that subscription in the Azure portal to confirm it is still active and not disabled or expired.
    3. Resource Limits: Free accounts have specific limits on the resources you can use. If you have exceeded any of these limits, it might cause the services to become unavailable. You can check your usage in the Azure portal to see if you have exceeded any quotas.
    4. Portal Issues: Sometimes, issues with the Azure portal can cause services to appear unavailable. If you have already tried clearing your cache and using incognito mode, consider trying a different browser or checking the Azure status page for any ongoing issues.
    5. Support: If the problem persists, consider creating a support request through the Azure portal to get assistance from Microsoft support.

Make sure to check these aspects to troubleshoot the issue effectively.

    Hi @Aiswarya

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating situation where your Azure services—Cosmos DB, Gen2 Storage, and SQL DB—disappeared from your free subscription. Here are a few things you might want to check or try out:

Subscription Status: Sometimes, Azure services can appear unavailable if there are issues with your subscription. Since you mentioned you have Rs 10,000+ credits left and only 8 days remaining, ensure that there are no holds or alerts on your subscription in the Azure portal.

Service Availability: Certain Azure services may not be fully available under free tiers or could be subject to usage limits. Verify the current availability of Cosmos DB, Gen2 Storage, and SQL DB under the Azure pricing calculator or free account options.

Azure Portal Issues: Since you've already cleared the cache and tried incognito mode, consider checking if there's a known Azure portal outage or issue. You can also try logging in from another browser or device.

Resource Manager: Go to the Azure Resource Manager in the portal and check if the resources are deallocated or if you've accidentally deleted them.

Region Limitations: Ensure that the services you are trying to access are available in the region associated with your subscription.

Support: If everything looks good on your end, you might want to contact Azure support directly for more help, especially since you mentioned trying various workarounds without success.

Hopefully, one of these suggestions helps you resolve the issue. If the problem persists, consider providing more details, such as:

    • Are there any error messages when you try to access these services?
    • Have you recently made changes to your account or resources?
    • Are you able to see any other services in your Azure portal?

Feel free to reach out if you need more assistance!
