OneDrive Web shows “Access Denied” when creating a new file, even though I have plenty of storage left.

I click OneDrive → My Files, then at the top click “New” → “Folder”, i get Access Denied.

Thanks for sharing the details, Sitian! Repair your OneDrive root permissions using the hidden “Classic OneDrive Restore” page

Open this hidden Microsoft page (not found in the normal UI): https://onedrive.live.com/recovery
Click Manage Access (if shown)
Select Reset permissions to default
Confirm.

This restores your ownership on the entire OneDrive structure, which immediately fixes “Access Denied” in most cases.
