With Windows 10 I could see all the pages of my Tiff document, but I had to upgrade to Windows 11 and I can only see the first page of my document. How can I view all the pages of my Tiff document?

Thank you!

To view all pages of a TIFF document in Windows 11, you can use the built-in Photos app or a third-party application that supports multi-page TIFF files. Here are the steps for both methods:

    Using the Photos App:

    1. Open the TIFF file: Right-click on the TIFF file and select "Open with" > "Photos."
    2. Navigate through pages: If the file is multi-page, you should see navigation arrows or thumbnails at the bottom of the window to scroll through the pages.

    Using Third-Party Software:

If the Photos app does not support your TIFF file, consider using software like IrfanView or GIMP, which can handle multi-page TIFF files effectively:

    1. Download and install: Install IrfanView or GIMP from their official websites.
    2. Open the TIFF file: Launch the application and open your TIFF document. You should be able to view all pages and navigate through them easily.

If you still encounter issues, ensure that your TIFF file is not corrupted and is compatible with the software you are using.

Thanks for sharing the details, Edwin! Try to use Windows' legacy Windows Photo Viewer

Windows Photo Viewer fully supports multi-page TIFFs, but Microsoft hides it in Windows 11. You can re-enable it.

    Steps

    Press Win + R → regedit

    Go to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Photo Viewer\Capabilities\FileAssociations

Add a new String Value for .tif and .tiff:

    • Name: .tif Value: PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff
    • Name: .tiff Value: PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff

Now go to Settings → Apps → Default apps

Search .tif → choose Windows Photo Viewer

    Open your TIFF.

You will now see the full multi-page navigation (previous/next page arrows) exactly like Windows 10.

This is the closest to restoring Windows 10 TIFF behavior.

See if this helps. If you need further assistance just let me know.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly
