Windows 10 Edge has locked me out of accessing my passwords.

Recently my Windows 10 lost access to my saved passwords in Edge. My saved passwords went from several hundred to zero. This was then transported to my iPhone and 2nd computer to where I lost access to all my Windows 10 synced passwords. I had to reset many of my passwords, but I survived. Now in Windows 10 instead of asking for my Pin to access my saved passwords in Edge, it is asking for a Primary Password. I have no idea what this is supposed to be. My Microsoft account password did not work to see my passwords, nor did the Pin that I have used for years. I am now locked out of access to my bank account and any ability to see any of my passwords in settings. What is going on?
