Submit Button Greyed Out

Dear MSN,

My button to submit comments to MSN articles is grayed out, I am unable to comment on any article. I reviewed the past comments I've made and none on them are offensive. I feel the situation happened on the last post I made in an article about a certain celebrity and maybe a fan or fans of that celebrity reported me, even though I didn't actually post anything offensive and nothing in my post went against the community guidelines. I'm concerned I could be banned from commenting not because of anything offensive but rather based on people just disagreeing with an opinion. I also checked my account status, and it says I don't have any violations.

Is there a way I could get this fixed or can be referred to the team that reviews abuse reports? Thank you in advance.

    Hello Miri,

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like your ability to comment might be temporarily restricted, even if your account shows no violations. This can happen if the system flags something for review or if there’s a technical glitch.

    Here’s what you can do.

-Make sure you’re signed in and your browser is up to date.

-Clear your cache and cookies, then reload MSN.

-If the button is still greyed out, it’s likely an account-level restriction. These are usually automated and can be temporary.

The best next step is to contact MSN Support directly through their Help & Feedback section or the Microsoft Support page. Explain the situation just like you did here and ask if your account is under review or if they can escalate it to the moderation team.
