To upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, you need to ensure that your PC meets the minimum system requirements and that you are running Windows 10 version 2004 or later. Here are some steps to help you troubleshoot and perform the upgrade:

    1. Check System Requirements: Ensure your PC meets the following requirements:
      • Processor: 1 GHz or faster, 2 or more cores, and on the list of supported 64-bit CPUs.
      • Memory: 4 GB or more of RAM.
      • Storage: 64 GB or larger storage device with additional free space for the upgrade process.
      • TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0 must be enabled.
      • Secure Boot: Ensure Secure Boot is enabled in your BIOS settings.
    2. Run PC Health Check: Download and run the PC Health Check tool from Microsoft to confirm compatibility with Windows 11. This tool will let you know if your PC meets the requirements and highlight any issues that need to be addressed.
    3. Backup Important Data: Before upgrading, back up your important files to avoid any data loss during the upgrade process.
    4. Upgrade Methods:
      • Windows Update: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates. If eligible, you will see an option to upgrade to Windows 11.
      • Windows 11 Installation Assistant: Download the tool from Microsoft's website, run it as an administrator, and follow the instructions to upgrade.
      • ISO File/USB Installation: For advanced users, download the Windows 11 ISO and create a bootable USB to install.
    5. Troubleshoot Common Issues: If the upgrade is not showing:
      • Ensure your Windows 10 is fully updated.
      • Check Microsoft's Windows 11 release status page for any known issues.

If you follow these steps and still face issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.

    Hello Ayush,

Thank you for reaching out about the issue you’re experiencing with upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I understand how frustrating it can be when updates don’t go through as expected and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. The most common reason for this problem is that the device may not meet the minimum system requirements or certain settings like TPM and Secure Boot might not be enabled.

To resolve this I recommend checking your PC’s compatibility using the PC Health Check tool from Microsoft, ensuring your system meets the requirements for Windows 11 and confirming that you are running Windows 10 version 2004 or later. If your device is compatible you can try upgrading through Windows Update use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant or perform a clean installation using an ISO file. Before proceeding make sure to back up your important data to avoid any loss during the upgrade process.

Could you confirm if you’ve already checked your system requirements and run the PC Health Check tool?

I hope this answer is helpful if you have further questions feel free to reply back

    Regards,

    Marcelo
