Personal gmail calendar no longer shows up in work Outlook calendar

This same issue happened about 2 years ago, in Oct/ Nov 2023, and has returned. I add my personal gmail calendar in my web outlook calendar settings, and can normally manage my gmail calendar from outlook. It has worked that way for many years, and is a major impact, without this ability to view and manage both calendars in the same location. Earlier this week, about Mon, Dec 8, 2025, the gmail calendar stopped showing up in the outlook calendar view. I've removed the calendar and re-added, rebooted, deleted cookies / cache, but appears to be a wider Microsoft connection issue.

Multiple times, I have rebooted, removed / re-added the gmail calendar, deleted cookies/cache, tried other browsers, and the gmail cal still won't show up. I can view the calendar, if I usethe subscribe to calendar option, however, that doesn't allow the ability to manage the gmail calendar from outlook. This is the critical need.

    Hi Scott,

Thank you for sharing your question. I understand your Gmail calendar isn't showing up in Outlook on the web? Here's how to fix it:

    First, wipe the slate clean

Get rid of your Gmail account in Outlook: Head to Settings (the gear icon) > Mail > Sync email, and delete the Gmail thing. If it's also under Storage accounts, delete it there too. Then, sign out of Outlook on the web and close your browser.

Cut Outlook off in Google: Go to your Google Account at myaccount.google.com > Data & Privacy > Apps and services > Microsoft apps & services (Outlook), and remove its access.

Hook it back up: In Outlook on the web, go to Calendar > Add Calendar > Add personal calendars > Google, sign in, and give it calendar access. Wait around 15 minutes for your stuff to show up.

If it's still not there, it might be an admin thing. Lots of companies use a setting to block personal calendars. Ask your IT people to see if that setting was turned on or changed recently.

This fixed the same problem for me around the beginning of December, so hopefully it works for you too.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards, Noel
