I've been trying to recover my @hotmail.com email address.
I was able to reset the password using my mobile number.
But when I sign in again, it is blocked again.
When I try to recover using my mobile number: (Try another verification method. That verification method isn't working right now. Please try another method.)
I submitted 3 recovery forms already but were unsuccessful.
My @hotmail.com account is only being used as a receiving email address of important bank emails.
I don't remember sending any email.

I need help to call or chat with support.

It sounds like you're experiencing difficulties with your @hotmail.com account recovery. Since you've already attempted to reset your password and are facing issues with verification methods, here are some steps you can take:

    1. Check Recovery Options: Ensure that the mobile number associated with your account is correct and that you have access to it. If possible, try using an alternate verification method if available.
    2. Contact Support: Since you mentioned needing help to call or chat with support, you can reach out to Microsoft support directly. They can assist you with account recovery and any issues related to your account being blocked. You can find the appropriate contact information for support on the Microsoft website.
    3. Recovery Forms: If you've submitted recovery forms, make sure to provide as much accurate information as possible to increase your chances of success.
    4. Wait and Retry: Sometimes, accounts may be temporarily blocked due to multiple failed attempts. Waiting a while before trying again can help.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, contacting Microsoft support directly will be your best option for further assistance.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with the account or login-related issues.

Microsoft Account Recovery form is currently the only official way to recover your account. You can try it up to twice a day.

If it’s already been a few weeks, you can check this page: "Account recovery unsuccessful" https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/account-recovery-unsuccessful-dc56c3e3-dff0-4ed5-8edb-60290eea6b53 it includes extra tips from Microsoft that could improve your chances.

Fill out the form as accurately as you can, include any old passwords, subjects of recent emails, or contacts you remember. The more details you provide, the better the chances of recovering your account.

If you have any recurring subscriptions or payments linked to this email, I also recommend contacting your bank or card provider to block those charges until your account is secured.

I know this process can take some time, but this is currently the only way Microsoft can verify ownership without access to the old phone number.
